On the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania, Muslim Americans for Compassion spent the day honoring our community’s first responders. MAC representatives joined Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer and Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear at a special remembrance ceremony. Also, several volunteers delivered more than 800 lunches to police stations, fire stations, and hospitals throughout the city.

The 9/11 lunch delivery is an annual tradition for MAC – an activity which demonstrates the sacredness of all human life regardless of creed, culture, race, gender, sexuality and all other circumstances.
