MAC President Dr. Muhammad Babar met with leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including Elder Jared Stone (Area Seventy, North American Southeast Area) on February 11th, 2022, to plan ways of working together in solidarity. They discussed co-sponsoring a refugee family together, as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is cosponsoring seven Afghan refugee families in collaboration with Kentucky Refugee Ministries.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is passionate about involvement and engagement with Muslim communities.
