Following his call for action against gun violence at the Muhammad Ali Center Vigil on Wednesday, April 12, MAC President Dr. Muhammad Babar spoke about his experience on WHAS11.
He spoke about being with the families of the victims following the attack, his decision to speak emphatically against inaction at the vigil, and what lies ahead for our state and our nation.
“Our nation is ready to get something done. The lackluster response of our leaders, especially at the national level. They are not steering people into a direction where we can agree to disagree,” Dr. Babar said. “Both sides of the aisle are ready to get something done.”
