On November 19, 2018, Interfaith Paths to Peace hosted its annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Dinner. The event was presented by Interfaith Paths to Peace in partnership with Crescent Hill Baptist Church, Louisville Islamic Center of Compassion, and Temple Shalom. Each partner takes turns hosting the event, which began in 2016 in remembrance of the 2015 River Road Mosque defacing, and reminding us of the power and beauty of unity during times of extremism.
At the dinner members of Louisville’s interfaith communities offered prayers from their faith traditions followed by a vegetarian dinner shared in the spirit of Thanksgiving.
Muslim Americans for Compassion extends its gratitude to those who worked so hard to make this event a success.
