Muslim Americans for Compassion (MAC) sponsored care packages to be delivered throughout Turkey following the catastrophic damage from February’s earthquake and aftershocks. This wouldn’t have been possible without the help of numerous volunteers, including Waqar, Haqan, Oguzhan, Ahmet and rest of the volunteer crew. Thanks to everyone who took part.
The journey for MAC’s supplies to reach Turkish families was significant. with supplies traveling to remote villages by gravel roads on mountainous terrain. You can see the large trucks and careful driving needed to make these deliveries in the attached images.
MAC volunteers in Turkey delivered boxes of supplies to the province of Adiyaman. These images chronicle part of the ongoing efforts to ease the lives of those Turkish residents rebuilding after February’s earthquake and aftershocks.
MAC volunteers delivered Ramadan supplies to the Askerhan Village in the Chalishkan District of Adiyaman. An Iftar dinner was provided to the encampment living there. MAC is proud to be able to provide essential food and supplies and ease the suffering of the residents. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
