Muslim Americans for Compassion (MAC) board member Maha Kolko was a keynote speaker at the 3rd Annual Women’s Leadership Luncheon by Water by Women. This event was help in celebration of International Women’s Day 2026 on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Dr. Maha Kolko is a pillar of the Louisville community, providing passionate advocacy for interfaith relations. She is a native of Syria and holds an MA and PhD in theoretical linguistics from Reading University in the United Kingdom. As keynote speaker, she shared an inspirational message of support for all women at the leadership luncheon.

This year’s theme was “Bloom Beyond Expectations: Louisville International Women’s Day Luncheon.” Water By Women is a great organization that provides mothers with affordable water filters so they can provide clean drinking water to their children.
