IRUSA focus on engaging staff and volunteers to take action and make a positive impact in communities through service work. This year, they honored MLK and Muhammad Ali with staff and volunteers working to make a total of 160,000 meals across service events for those in our communities who need aid.

On January 17th, 2024, the Muhammad Ali Center and the nonprofit Islamic Relief USA hosted more than 140 volunteers of all ages to pack meals for those in need. MAC president Dr. Babar summarized the event well stating, “We thought that, what is the best way of celebrating the birthday of the ‘Greatest’ of all time, Muhammad Ali, than to serve our community,”.
