MAC volunteers delivered non-perishable food such as soups, canned fruit & vegetables, peanut butter, tuna, rice, pasta, breakfast foods, baby food, and diapers for Norton Healthcare employees, patients & their families who may be affected if funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) ends during the federal government shutdown.
The items were delivered to the office located at 4965 U.S. Highway 42, to help restock Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s patient food pantries.
The goal is simple. Every donation helps ensure patients and families have access to nutritious meals and essential items during difficult times.
